nursery gift set...

A friend of mine just had a beautiful baby boy and I put together this gift set for her. It was one of those gifts that just kept growing. It started with the card and then I had the little metal tub that I had picked up from M's on clearance. I made the little tag and tied on all blue ribbons and some white and then filled the tub with little baby necessities and a couple of wash cloths. Then I remembered that I had this sweet little frames that I had picked up at the dollar store and decided to make him a little name frame (I put this together using Basic Grey's Oh baby boy patterned paper). I wanted to do something fun for these adorable onsie's that I had picked up so, I used the packaging of my last Papertrey ink purchase...lol. I wrapped a belly band around it and then paper pieced the little boat for the center image (on scallops and popped up).

Name frame supplies:


stamps: big deal alphabet, nursery necessities, Everday flexible phrases, 1/4" snap stamps Karen Foster. CS: blue bayou, whisper white, bashful blue, Basic Grey Oh baby boy collection. Ink: blue bayou, bashful blue, wild wasabi, so saffron. Access: brads, hemp thread, 2way glue pen, star spiral clip, hodgepodge hardware, bashful blue grosgrain ribbon, tiny googly eye, cuttle bug and swiss dot's emboss folder, word window, and frame (dollar store).
