The "ways to use it" challenge on Splitcoast this week was to use twill tape on your card. I borrowed this set from a friend and have been dying to use it and cut it up and layer this huge blossom. So, that is exactly what I did. I popped the layers up with dimensionals, curled some of the flower petals for dimension and coated the blossom with dazzling diamonds. I used some gorgeous "dasher" paper from Basic Grey, which gave this card exactly the feel I was hoping for...Old world, vintage. I only had this one strip of twill tape and on the opposite side of what I used it says "merry Christmas" with trees and what not, but it just didn't fit with this design so I used the other side. Of course, that left me with the problem of not being able to tie a little knot with the tape (for fear of seeing what's on the other so, I just tied a little black gingham ribbon to finish it off nicely. Another 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 design.

Stamps: Fabulous flowers, baroque motifs. Ink: ruby red, rose red, basic black. CS: very vanilla, ruby red, old olive, Dasher designer paper by Basic Grey. Access: 2way glue pen, dazzling diamonds, dimensionals, twill tape, gingham ribbon, slit punch, ticket corner punch, brads, sparkly rub on (Making Memories).
